Not a day goes by without a story about artificial intelligence (AI) in the media. For companies, scientists, educators, students, content producers, governments... for everyone, it's a time of great questions, enthusiasm, fantasies and concerns. Following on from its Opinion (No. 3) on the ethical issues surrounding chatbots at the end of 2021, the National Steering Committee for Digital Ethics (CNPEN) is publishing a new opinion on "Generative artificial intelligence systems: ethical issues", in response to a referral from the Minister for Digital Transition and Telecommunications, Jean-Noël Barrot.
