Dr. Catherine Tessier is a senior researcher at ONERA, Toulouse, France. Her research focuses on modelling ethical reasoning and on ethical issues related to the use of “autonomous” robots. She is also ONERA’s research integrity and ethics officer. She is a member of the ethics committee of the French ministry of defense and a member of Inria's Research Ethics Board. She was a member of UNESCO ad hoc expert group for the elaboration of the Recommendation on the ethics of Artificial Intelligence.
