Opinion 120 Ethical issues in developing fetal genetic testing on maternal blood.
The CCNE reflects on the development of human genomics tools, which do not always lead to therapeutic progress. They do, however, shed light on the question of whether their future child will be affected by a particularly serious genetic disease/disability and allow better management of pregnancy. They raise a wide range of ethical issues that society needs to address.
